Error message popping up repetitively, blocking the app.

When Bibus servers have a problem, the following error message keeps coming back on screen :

"Il est actuellement impossible de rechercher les horaires de cette ligne"

Then the application returns to the main screen. This basically makes the application impossible to use.

What is really strange is that message shows up in french, no matter the active language. I failed to reproduce the bug on demand so far.

Ok, I got it.

When the user moves on the LinesFragment, an http request is sent to retrieve the list of lines. This takes some time. I the user moved away from the fragment during this interval (Ex: going to traffic tab), then the app can't get a handle on the lines fragment any more, producing a NullPointerException.
