Date notation

WP: 4.6.1 Jobmanager: 0.7.25 Website: http://www.wfwerkt.nl

When I create a job, I can select the date via a dropdown menu. I set the date at 01-12-2016 (december 1, 2016). But then the job I created is set at 'expired' because somehow the date is transformed to 2016-12-01 (2016, january 12).

Can you please help?
