0.5.0 Browser Version: Tab indicator showing wrong USB connect status

A single micro:bit is connected to an USB port and shows connected in the browser version.

A new microBlocks instance is executed in a new tab in the browser. Initially, this tab is free of any USB connection icon indicators. Then attempt is made to connect to the same USB port as the other tab. Of course, this attempt fails. However, after the failed attempt, the browser tab acquires the same little icon indicating a connected USB port, even though there is no connection. A text message shows up with the same info as well, contradictory to the actual USB status.

This might not be something within the control of microBlocks. But wanted to document the discrepancy to eliminate confusion.

You’re right, this is browser behavior that we have no control over, but it’s good to know about. I can pass this along to the Chrome issue tracker.
