Open From Board does not work in Windows IDE (v0.6.8)

Environment:

WIN10 home 64bit, Chrome Version 85.0.4183.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Neither for the stand-alone nor for the browser version.

I’ve confirmed that it doesn’t work in the browser version. I fixed some problems in the 0.6.8 version; is it still failing for you in the stand alone version?

Made a separate issue for the browser. So this issue is now just about the Windows IDE.

As of this morning (v0.6.9), stand-alone version “open from board” works very well.

Only caveat, if any, is that the COMMENTS are NOT included in the recovered blocks.

Usually a minor thing, but could be big if it includes run instructions & doc etc.

That’s a known issue – comments are not even saved in the compiled code, so they can’t be restored by the decompiler. However, I agree that it would be nice if we could capture and restore them so I’ll add an enhancement request issue for that.
