DIRECTORY List Order in FILE menus

Issue #30 resolved
Turgut Guneysu created an issue

Hi John,

Question about directory list order between Win10 and MicroBlocks File menus:

How come they are not in the same order as far sorting order goes ?
I have a habit of renaming certain active directories staring with “__” to make them list as the first set of items.

This is not possible in microBlocks file menus, and they end up at the bottom of the list; causing a lot of scrolling.

No biggie, but I am just curious.

I think MicroBlocks currently sorts files in a case-sensitive way, so first you get file names starting with an upper-case letter, then ones starting with an underscore, then the ones starting with a lowercase letter. Windows appears to be doing case-senstive sort as if letters A-Z were lower-case (a-z). That would put filenames starting with underscore first, because underscore comes between the upper-case and lower-case lower-case letters. It might be useful for MicroBlocks to do a case-insensitive sort.
