When creating a method name, hint in the popup window whether a command building block or a report building block is being created. Often what is meant to be created is a report block but is created as a command block.

There are two buttons: one creates a command block the other creates a reporter block. Do you think that's confusing?

I sometimes change my mind. For example, I thought I wanted a command block but realize that it needs to return a value so it should be a reporter.

When that happens, I detach the blocks under the script hat block, delete the hat block definition -- which now has nothing under it -- and make a new script hat of the desired type. I then put the blocks from the old script hat under the new one. It's a few steps, but it is very easy to do..
