Cant connect to Rasp PI

Just got the PicoBrick bundle for my son for christmas. First thing it asks me to do is update the firmware on the board by holding the BOOTSEL button and plugging it into USB. No matter how many times I try or what computer I use, the Raspi doesnt show up as a drive to put the firmware on. Ive tried bypassing firewall, running as admin, ect. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

I was just about to suggest trying a different USB cable. Glad you figured it out yourself. I hope you and your son are having fun with it!

Discovered the issue. I tried a new micro usb cable and that seemed to work. The one that came with the set must be faulty.
