How to work the BLE connect in Linux
Issue #460
resolved
My laptop system is Linuxmint 22 xfce. In the chrome , when I click connect menu to use “connect(BLE)(Experimental!)”, it seems to open serial port . It doesn’t work with BLE connect. How can I do?

Works for me on a xubuntu 22.04 only enabling chrome://flags/#enable-web-bluetooth
-
repo owner Good to know that only that flag is needed. I've update my original response.

I think in Mint I had to do some more settings, but that was at the start, and I changed a number of settings. I know only have enable-web-bluetooth enabled and it is still working.

In the Linux version of Chrome, Web Bluetooth is still under development and is not enabled by default. You can enable it with the chrome://flags/#enable-web-bluetooth flag.
I don't run Linux but MicroBlocks users who do use Linux (including Mint) have reported success after setting that flag.
Eventually, Google will make Web Bluetooth support standard in the Linux version of Chrome.
