Full screen slowdown

For some reason, in my laptop with a GT840M graphics card, Tiki Brawl slows down when is in full screen, from 60 stable fps, to 35-37fps.

Update: This only occurs in my laptop. In my PC, with a GTX960, it doesn't happen. Also, I've tried changing SDL_WINDOW_DESKTOP_FULL_SCREEN to SDL_WINDOW_FULL_SCREEN, with the same outcome.
