Avisynth is a wonderful piece of software. It enables you to make incredibe stuff with your videos. One of the things that makes it great is the among and power of the filters/plugins/scripts that go with it.
Nevertheless the are a few problems:
- There are MANY filters.
- There is no common place to retrieve them.
- You have to retrieve all those filters one by one.
- The licensing terms in not always clear.
The aim that I have is to have a common place to retrieve all those filters. Only those filters with clear statements in terms of licensing will be put here.
In that sense, I encourage everybody to use licensing like BSD or MIT where possible. It is the closest to the Public Domain (free / non free projects) with a well written disclaimer.
In the root directory you will find all the stuff that avisynth may use. You will find as well "licenses.org". It contains information about the stuff included, web pages and in specially the licenses for each package and files affected by that license. This file is an org-mode file generated using Emacs, if you are wondering about its format.
There is a directory called "doc/" which contains documentation for the package when it is included with it.
There is a directory called "licenses/". It contains some licenses to which "licenses.org" is making reference.
The purpuse of this exercise is to make life easier. In that sense, I do apology to the developers for any mistake that I have made. Please don't hesitate to contact with me in the event of mistakes, new errors, or in the worst case, if your package has been included and it shouldn't in accordance with its license (I will remove it without hesitation). Don't hesitate to contact with me: email@example.com
