Updated release or installation instructions, maybe missing file

Hi JP,

I am currently running on Windows and have been using version 8.5 without trouble. However I came across a need for a feature that is in the code but was added after 8.5 (selecting multiple geometries for painting).

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to create an updated Windows release that could include said feature and maybe others. I also tried following the instructions to run from a clone of the source tree. However the instructions indicate that after cloning FlatCAM can be run by entering the flatcam directory and typing

python FlatCAM.py

The problem is that on the master branch there does not appear to be any file called FlatCAM.py. Could you provide some guidance on this?

Hi Marco, FlatCAM.py was renamed flatcam, so do

python flatcam

instead.

This change was done for better compatibility for packaging.

The current code is very far from stable, that is why we are not making a release yet. Sorry.
