Windows installer does not cleanup installation folder on update
I've updated to the latest beta and it seems that there is numpy version upgrade was done. But the installer just put both versions alongside, which cause numpy to fail initialization.
Totally uninstalling flatcam and reinstalling it solves the problem
how to reproduce: find installer with older version of numpy bundled, install it, then install newer version of flatcam ontop of it

Account Deactivated reporter I think it should be somehow reflected on installation page (http://flatcam.org/manual/installation.html). Currently it just says (grab the installer and use it)

FlatCAM Beta is beta ... The manual is for the old FlatCAM 8.5. While many of the information's in the manual still apply for FlatCAM beta, there are considerable differences between those versions that make the manual rather obsolete.
Once I finish shuffling the GUI, I will start a series of YouTube videos that will help users handle new features in FlatCAM.

@scaytrase The newly released installers for 8.909 FlatCAM beta will automatically uninstall an older version of FlatCAM if they detect one at install time. So I guess this issue is fixed.

Didn't do a deep testing, but looks like it works. Thank you!

FlatCAM beta was never intended to just install over the previous installation. Uninstall is required. Though, I will have a look in how this can be automatized in Inno Setup installer.
