I have proposal of improvement.

I use NCC tool of gerber file, and this tool create paths from gerber content with margin setting in NCC tool, Can You create some property in settings for use reference of other gerber file (sample image below)? For use content from reference gerber file for setup outline property for NCC tool. Like "border outline" gerber file, or something like this. I will be very grateful for this improvement.

Hi Sergey,
Feature was added. But reference can be also an Excellon or Geometry objects. Which means you can draw a new Geometry using the Path tool and clear only that area that you enclose (for now only a convex shape).

Don’t you think it might be better to use the Buffer option in the Gerber Editor? You can inflate all copper features.

This way you have also a graphic way to judge how much the offset will be.

Probably I can use inflate copper, but don’t you think it bigger operation because of such a small function like offset in NCC tool? :)

Actually no, it’s not a small function, because adding an offset in NCC tool involves adding a buffering which is a heavy operation. Actually one of the heaviest that is used in FlatCAM. That’s why I’m reluctant to include it there.

Hi,

Ok, I’ve added it and made it optional but I don’t like adding features that are already in the software. Especially when I’m on the way out, I spent too much time for this software.
In any case this is the end of new features, from now on it’s feature freeze, bug fixes and code clean-up.
