Improve save project shortcuts

The save project
shortcut is missing, and the Save project as…
is not something standard and good to use.
Using v8.991
My recommendation is to use the global standard way to do that:
Ctrl+S
to save the project (including the very first time asking where to save it), andCtrl+Shift+S
to save the project as…

Is it possible to move the “Save (Project)” near to the Open, at least in the same menu section before the first ruler?

The first time you launch Save Project As command (Ctrl+S) it will ask you where to save. It’s normal. Subsequent uses will save over the initial save. But I guess is a bit misleading so I will change that.
I’ll also move the Save in the same section as Open …
