Hi,

I don’t know if ‘testresources’ is needed but the ‘pyserial’ is fixed in my working copy.
If you think that that package is needed then of course, make an PR.

on my brand new Ubuntu 20.04 LTS instance, testresources was needed.

You can make the PR over the Beta branch here in this repo. I will merge the PR and same time I will update my private repo. Indeed my working repo is closed right now due of having breaking changes.
