program opens but does not open gerber or nc code.
It asks for version control if I'm not connected to the internet. When I connect to the internet it says the version is up to date but the problem persists.

Hi,
You need to provide a lot more informations. What program are you using, what version, under what operating system, what message is pop-up (if any) when not connected to internet and so on.
