Mailpiler migrate

Good day

Hope someone can assist me we migrate piler and i am stuck when starting rc.searchd

i had to upgrade piler first on old system and did tested the start services on old system everything looks good

i did follow this links below

give me this error

rc.searchd[26389]: WARNING: index 'dailydelta1': preload: can't load an old index with SBCS tokenizer; NOT SERVING

but can i remove the file the directory of /var/piler/sphinx/ and run reindex -a

Did you upgrade only piler? Also check if the sphinx version is the same on both old and new server.

Ahh i see alright will update the old System it was on Sphinx 2.0.4-id64-release and the new one is 2.2.11-id64-release i did upgrade the old system to the same version and now giving me the same error WARNING: index 'main1': preload: can't load an old index with SBCS tokenizer; NOT SERVING

I did run indexer --all --rotate now looks like the error is gone but my /var/piler/sphinx is empty must i run reindex -a
