How to import whole Zimbra-Server at once?
Hello,
I can’t find, how to import to Piler all accounts from Zimbra. I’ve access to all mailboxes as Zimbra-Admin, but I haven't the IMAP-Passwords from Users... And really, with over 100 accounts, one-by-one-import will not be comfortable. :)
Any hints?
Greets.

Account Deleted reporter E-Mails are not in eml-Format but .msg.

repo owner OK, then check out https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?t=57996 and https://virtualimpressions.com/zimbra-account-export-import-from-command-line/ how to get the emails. I believe that it’s relatively straightforward to script the export. Once you have the tar.gz files for each account, you can copy and import them on piler.

Account Deleted reporter That can work. Thanks.
Should I then unzip everything into a ONE folder or pilerimport can read recursively? Or pilerimport can read tgz / zip files?
-
repo owner It can’t read tgz/zip files, however it can recurse into directories.

repo owner How is it going?

Account Deleted reporter On small system without problems. On big-server, issues with DNS. Not Piler problem...

repo owner - changed status to closed
ok, then case is closed.

Do you administer the zimbra host? In that case you may copy all eml files to the archive host, where pilerimport can process them.
