I can manage to Backup my old Exchange Server to Mailpiler so i can easily manage if there is any request for old email from user using piler.

sofar my piler installation save 1,3TB of email data and my Sphinx main index size 3.6G

is there any problem with my piler installation Sphinx main index size 3.6G, because it shown in red .. ?

No, there’s nothing wrong with it. However, consider this. Piler uses a main-delta-deltadelta index scheme. The delta1 index is merged to dailydelta1 index every 30 mins. Then dailydelta1 is merged to main1 index once a day. Now the dailydelta1 size won’t grow too large, however, the main1 index will. The problem is that the larger main1 index size is, the longer it takes to merge dailydelta1 into it.

That’s why the gui has a warning limit suggesting to start using using main2. Again, it’s not a hard and fast rule, you are free to ignore it, or even fix the threshold to a different value, eg. 5GB. It’s up to you.
