Bug in pilerimport 1.3.10 via pop3

I’ve upgraded from piler 1.3.3 to piler 1.3.10, but I’m not sure whether the upgrade caused the issue.
When I import mail via pop3, sometimes two messages get merged together, separated by lines like:

[...end of previous mail body]
.
+OK 1206 octets
[start of new email headers...]

As a workaround I tried to import via imap and I’ve not experienced any further issues

Well, then I recommend to use the imapfetch.py utility to download the emails. If you have some time to experiment, please test it with 1.3.12 as well.
