Restore the piler data (archived mails)
Issue #215
resolved
Hi jsuto,
I have installed the piler-0.1.24 on CentOS 5.9. Archiving of mail is working properly.
For backup purpose (if this HW crashed i will restore this in new machine), am taking the below files /var/piler/ /var/www/html/piler /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf /var/lib/mysql/ /usr/local/etc/
When i restore these files in centOS 5.9 machine (after piler instllation), am able to login the accounts & able to see the list of mails with subjects but verified icon was crossed in read. (normally it will be right mark in green colour.)
If i click any subject mail, Am getting the message like "no subject".
Pls advice how to restore the backup files (archived mails)?
Thanks, Anand

I assume, it's a different centos 5.9 host, let's call it the backup host. So on the backup host try to retrieve a single email with pilerget, eg. pilerget 400000...52918191891...
where 400000...52918191891... is a piler identifier. Check your maillog for a valid piler id.
