Can I change the index schedule to have the closest emails from a real time in the GUI?

hi. Is that indexing does not happen in real time, the messages are executed every half hour. So it takes some time to be available for research.

I can reduce this time in crontab without harming the system?

You can increase the frequency of the indexing job, eg. from 30 mins to 10 or 15 mins or so. However keep in mind that it's an email archive, so I believe that a ~30 mins delay is usable. Anyway, it's up to you. The important thing is to give the indexer time to finish before crontab starts the next run.
