Hi I have install piler on my local machine and need to archive all my mail accounts from remote pop3 host.

provide me the configuration for archiving all my mail accounts.

Well, if you have piler installed, and it's up and running, then use the pilerimport utility to download and import your pop3 mailboxes. See http://www.mailpiler.org/en/import.html for details.

while using pilerimport utility it shows cannot connect to mysql server.

Please check the mysqlsocket parameter in piler.conf.

Regarding the discard error. Please make sure you chdir to /tmp before running pilerimport.
