Quick Question regarding a spam filter
I will simply give the particulars: 1. Windows domain with Exchange, a Linux firewall, and I use the Scrollout the anti-spam email gateway.
So, I have a firewall forwarding all emails to Scrollout, from Scrollout to Exchange.
My problem/question is how do I capture all emails into Mailpiler, including the spam hitting the spam filter? I need to capture all emails for historical purposes.

reporter Ok, this is what I need: All email that comes to our domain(s). even though the spam filter blocks some incoming emails. The spam filter blocks some spam from getting to Exchange. We would like to archive all emails.

repo owner Do all emails (including internal emails) flow through Scrollout? If so, then it should support passing a copy of each received emails to piler via smtp.

reporter All internal emails stay within Exchange.

repo owner Then you still need the Exchange smtp journaling, and additionally configure Scrollout to send a copy of each spam to piler as well.

You need to setup smtp journaling in Exchange. See http://www.mailpiler.org/pdf/piler-0.1.24.pdf from page 15 on how to do this task.
