zpipe: invalid or incomplete deflate data

I'm trying to migrate a piler installation from one machine to another. I installed from scratch, I copied /var/piler and MySQL database. When I try 'reindex -a' I get the error 'zpipe: invalid or incomplete deflate data'

What I am missing?

make sure the "iv" parameter in piler.conf, and the piler.key file are the same on both ends
