All mails importing, then 'Message Failed Verification'
Hi! I'm searched on this issue and can't find anything, and it's just not making sense to me. I wasn't 100% sure if this was the best place to send this, because it may not be a bug, but then again, it may be...
I'm importing mails from maildir, and everything seems to go fine, but then when I log in as auditor, every single one of them says Message Failed Verification.
I'm running rc2, on CentOS 6.5 on a VM.
I was able to download the eml file 1, and it's completely fine. I then did a pilerget on that id 2. But for some reason, I can't see anything in the web gui.
I'm doing my initial import, currently at 16,000 messages and growing...
Thanks!

repo owner Try one more thing: disable selinux, reboot, and check the gui again, if the verification error goes away.
-
reporter Worked great! Issue resolved.
Is there any way to keep SELinux running and have mailpiler work?
-
repo owner Well, there must be a way to do so, but so far I couldn't figure out how to setup selinux properly. And in the near future I can't afford spending more time experimenting with selinux rules. I hope someone can help me with it :-)
-
repo owner - changed status to resolved
-
reporter Understood, if I knew more of SELinux, I'd give it a shot, but I don't.
Thanks!
-
Set to "Permissive" mode instead of disabling. However no policy is enforced, but log and warn actions. I am not an expert, but i can try and the cause.
-
repo owner In the meantime I managed to come up with a selinux rule that enables you to view the messages. However one more thing is missing: to enable running the uptime command from a php script...

The 2nd message appears to be empty. Is there anything in the maillog when you execute "pilerget 4000000053bcca9b2941dde4000d1cf546c0" command?
When piler archives a message, then it computes some sha265 values. When it's retrieved these values are recomputed, them compared with the already stored values. If they don't match, then it prints the failed verification message.
