Imap Authentication and Group Membership

Hi again,

Not sure how to assign imap auth users to a group? I can setup a group in piler but when I try and create a user to add to the group it insists on a password and no matter what password I put in I get an error

"Error: Failed to add: [e-mail]"

How do I assign users authenticating via imap to a group?

You don't have to create a new (imap) user just in order to put him to a new group. Please refer to the updated documentation about the groups at http://www.mailpiler.org/en/administering.html. It has an example on how to do that.

Thanks for the response. On the "Add Group" form I don't have an ""Assigned email addresses" box. I just got a "Email addresses:" I am using the current stable release.

I will need to check if the upgrade put the new web pages in the wrong place.

Then I think the gui is not updated. The "make install" command updates only the binaries. And note that since 0.1.24 the database scheme is changed as well.

thanks I copied the webui folder over, edited the config files and all is now good.
