The command switches need two --.

Wrong:

/usr/local/bin/indexer delta1 -rotate /usr/local/bin/indexer -merge main1 delta1 -merge-dst-range deleted 0 0 -rotate

Right:

/usr/local/bin/indexer delta1 --rotate /usr/local/bin/indexer --merge main1 delta1 --merge-dst-range deleted 0 0 --rotate

Probably libreoffice autocorrected it to a single dash. I'll fix it, and release the updated version of the pdf manual, soon. Thanks for noticing the error.
