SSO ActiveDirectory - no login - permission denied
Issue #449
resolved
Hello Janos, I am using the vm image. Since it uses nginx as webserver it is not clear to me (call me an educated amateur) how your description in the piler110 guide, talking about apache all the way, will meet reality. I think I have done everything right, following your guide but know I am stuck. And a blind - where or what logs are used to write errors here? Otherwise, up until here everything went us smooth as it can get. I am pretty happy with what I already have here with mailpiler. Sven

Hello Sven, the ova image is for a fast deployment. I've picked nginx, since it's a popular webserver with a smaller footprint than apache, suitable for a generic environment. However I'm not aware of any nginx module that supports SSO, to my current knowledge your only option is apache + mod_auth_winbind for that. So in a nutshell if you need SSO with AD, then uninstall nginx, install apache, mod_auth_winbind, etc. as in the docs, and you are good to go.
