Retention period and pilerpurge help

Hello,
Can you provide some direction on how I can set up the retention rules? The piler rule I have set up is not applying. Piler purge is enabled in the admin web interface and when I run a pilerpurge -d from the command line I get '0 messages purged'.
I have attached a screenshot of the retention rule I have set.

Take a message you think matches the rule, then run pilertest, and see its output, especially the retention date to reveal what piler thinks about the rule.
