Disable user existence check in configure
Issue #461
resolved
In order to be able to build piler as an RPM or other package for a Linux distribution, the piler user will not be available at build time. We need to be able to disable this check in configure

repo owner OK, thanks for the info. If you manage to make an RPM, can you post the procedure? Perhaps other are also interested in piler packages. Btw. I was able to make a deb package, and the pre (or post) install script created the piler user. Note that on the build machine I had the piler user.

reporter Debian and RPM packaging it pretty different. Debian runs with "fakeroot" so it can fake root command, rpm doesn't. You can test for RPM building by checking DESTDIR.

This also needs to disable using the user in the install process.
