Gmail Import Failing
I am trying to import some gmail accounts from our domain and it constantly keeps failing. I have tried from /tmp and /usr/local/bin and have tried as user piler and even gave it a whirl with root. I am using piler-0.1.24 Here is the message I keep getting, ```
/usr/local/bin/pilerimport -i imap.gmail.com -u person@gmail.com -p yeahok -P 993
server cert: subject: /C=US/ST=California/L=Mountain View/O=Google Inc/CN=imap.gmail.com issuer: /C=US/O=Google Inc/CN=Google Internet Authority G2
login failed, server reponse: * CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 UNSELECT IDLE NAMESPACE QUOTA ID XLIST CHILDREN X-GM-EXT-1 UIDPLUS COMPRESS=DEFLATE ENABLE MOVE CONDSTORE ESEARCH UTF8=ACCEPT LIST-EXTENDED LIST-STATUS A2 OK person@gmail.com authenticated (Success)```

reporter How can I upgrade piler but retain my current archive/database?
-
repo owner Make a backup of the host, especially the mysql database, then follow instructions at http://www.mailpiler.org/wiki/current:upgrade
-
reporter Ok, I have downloaded piler 1.1.1 and have ran the DB upgrade to 1.1.0. What do I need to do now?
-
repo owner Upgrade the gui, then compile and upgrade the binaries.
-
reporter Sorry for the noobish behavior and questions but it is critical I do this correctly. Do you have a guide I can follow do do that?

Called read the wiki http://www.mailpiler.org/wiki/current:index , practice on a testing vm if you are not sure.
Pretty much everything is in the wiki or has been discussed before.

repo owner If you have trouble upgrading, consider the ad hoc support, see http://www.mailpiler.org/wiki/adhoc-support

You have an outdated version of piler. Upgrade to the latest version, because no updates will come to 0.1.24.
