pilerimport has problems with big mails

We're running pilerimport to get mails out of a journal mailbox. It is running quite good until a big mail (> 15 MB) is in the mailbox. Pilerimport ist fetching the mail and after that it stops working without deleeting the elements.

I attached the last lines of an strace log.
