pilerimport error: cannot open Maildir

Hi Janos,

first of all. Good work. Your Application is very fine.

I've an problem with importing my existing Emails form an Maildir folder. I'am starting pilerimport from /var/piler/tmp like this

pilerimport -d /home/user/Maildir/cur

The named directory cur is owned by piler also all emailfiles are owned by piler.

pilerimport says: cannot open directory: /home/user/Maildir/cur

If i try to import only one email like this

pilerimport -e /home/user/Maildir/cur/mail

pilerimport says: cannot stat: /home/user/Maildir/cur/mail

I'am using piler v1.2.0

Any ideas?

Hello. I suspect that piler user can't read either of the parent directories. Check if /home, /home/user and /home/user/Maildir are readable by piler.
