reporter Ok thanks will do the next time.
i can connect to the database manually. login to mysql with the piler user.
-
repo owner I'm not sure. If you can, then why piler can't?
-
reporter Tested with search emails on the db and that looks oke, but it looks like sphinx isn't displaying the files on the gui.
-
repo owner Check the mail log for the sphinx query. It should reveal how many emails sphinx found for the search. Also note that there's a <30 mins delay until an email gets to the gui.

repo owner - changed status to invalid

I'm not sure what sort of enhancement this issue is (I bet there's no enhancement at all), but run pilerconf|grep mysql as root. Then try to connect to the mysql server with the parameters you see. And next time please make sure to bitbucket format your request.
