If libpiler is supposed to be used by other programs to it should have a SONAME. If it's only for internal usage it should not be located in /usr/lib64 but in /usr/lib64/piper.

Thanks for the hint. I was not familiar with suse's packaging policies. I've updated the master branch to add the soname info to the piler library.
