Installation in Physical Server

Hi Team, I want assistance in installation of mail piler in physical or dedicated server. My scenario is, I've already an old version installed in virtual machine, I want to migrate it to the newer version. suggest what precautions required, what necessary steps should I follow, as I'm migrating first time.

Well, you have two ways to do so:

#1: * setup the new host * install the exact same version to new host * copy all raw data from old host to new host * and adjust the configs, eg. hostnames, etc. * upgrade piler * verify that everything works properly on new host * configure your mail server to send emails to new host

#2: * setup the new host * install the latest version of piler * export data from old host using pilerexport * move exported data (=the eml files) to new host * import data on new host * verify that everything works properly on new host * configure your mail server to send emails to new host
