goblog is a simple blog engine written in Go 1 (at the moment you need to use go-weekly to compile it). It uses blackfriday for Markdown processing.

To create a blog post you have to create a "post" directory. Every (correctly named) file in this directory is a new blog post. You can only use alphanumeric characters, underscores and dashes in the filename and it has to start with a number and a dash (e.g. "1-foo-bar").

The file has to start with a small header for metadata. Everything after that is processed as Markdown and used as the content of the post.

A blog post file could look like this

Title: Hello World!
Date: 2012-03-17T13:37:00Z

Hello World! This is my first blog post.
