Slow JS when displaying a model

Accessing a model seems to first show the whole page (for a few ms) before displaying the tabs. I would suggest refining the loading of the page so that this behaviour is not visible by end users. This task could be tackled at the same time as refining the display (not parsing the file at display time) and issue #149 (Direct access to model specific elements)
