Validation errors are signalled on model page even if validation passed
The Furosemid model was checked on Monday for validation errors and failed because of the bug that needed the repository update this week. After the bug was fixed I can validate the annotations for this model, but on the model page under "Validation Status" it still says:
Annotations have been checked. There are some errors.

Rikard,
People seemed confused that they can annotate their model, click on 'validate' and see the confirmation message that the annotations are okay, only to then click on "return to the model display page" (without saving first) and see that none of the annotations are saved, yet the validation status says "the annotations are correct".
Can you try saving again?
Mihai.

reporter I cannot save them again. After clicking Save and waiting for more than 30s I get "Unable to save the annotations you provided."
-
That is a different issue which is caused by a transaction timeout.
-
reporter Then there are two issues:
- My annotations are already saved, they validate ok but yet I cannot publish
- I cannot save my annotations again
Do you want me to open another ticket for number 2?
-
We are already working on
#2, so there's no need to raise another ticket IMHO.Clicking on Validate will not update the database to record that the annotations are valid/invalid, which is why you would need to click on save again.

reporter Ok, thanks. It isn't obvious that an extra save is needed after a validation. Please keep me posted on when
#2is fixed so that I can save and publish the model. -
reporter I tried again now and it works. You can close the ticket.

This also means that I cannot publish this model.
