Root sign is not handled

maths: (square) roots are displayed in a very unusual way, see e.g. example attached. If the typical sqrt sign like that compiled from the one encoded in LATEX http://www.personal.ceu.hu/tex/math.htm#sqrt is too difficult, then we should try to visualise in a similar way as done in the LATEX code.
