-As the number of properties can start to get unwieldy, it is possible to hide variables which have a default value of null or an empty string by un-clicking the relevant button on the Inspection toolbar. It is also possible to hide non-enumerable properties.

It is also possible to filter by a search term using the Filter field in the toolbar. This will only match properties that are currently visible.

Deleting a property can be achieved by entering edit mode, selecting the whole line and pressing <kbd>Delete</kbd>, or selecting <q>Remove declaration</q> from the context menu.

-Instead of deleting a property it is often useful while debugging to temporarily disable it. This can be achieved by hovering over a property and unchecking the check box. This will grey out the property. Checking the box again will re-enable it.

 ### Search

-The <a href="/dragonfly/documentation/appendixd/#search-bar">search bar</a> can be accessed in the JavaScript Debugger and DOM Inspector using <kbd>Ctrl</kbd>+<kbd>F</kbd> (<kbd>F3</kbd> on Mac, or <kbd>fn</kbd>+<kbd>F3</kbd> for keyboards the define OS functions to the function keys), or clicking on the search button. It is possible to navigate between results using <kbd>Enter</kbd> and <kbd>Shift</kbd>+<kbd>Enter</kbd>. The <a href="/dragonfly/documentation/debugger/">JavaScript Debugger</a> includes an advanced mode for searching in all scripts. More information on search can be found in the relevant chapter for each tool.

A cookie consists of name-value pairs and associated metadata. An HTTP server can use the `Set-Cookie` header to pass the pairs to the browser in the HTTP header response. When the user agent makes subsequent requests to the server, the user agent uses the metadata and other information to determine whether to return the name/value pairs in the `Cookie` header.

The cookies panel lists all cookies set by the site being debugged: they are arranged in a table, sorted by domain and grouped by the host and path. Each row includes a column for each cookie attribute: name, value, expiry date etc.
