Data Center version is desperately needed

Issue #261 open
Aleksandrs Gumenuks created an issue

The MathJax Add-On is the best tool for scientific writings in Confluence since ever!

We are going to migrate our server instance this year to data centre (DC).

Do you have any plans to roll out DC version in the near future?

I'm working on the DataCenter qualification presently, but it's a pretty rough guantlet. We've been using the plugin in our DataCenter instance for years without issue.

I see. Thanks for prompt reply!

This is our plan too. We are going to install the existing server plugin first.

    Hi Team,

We would like to know is there any version for MathJax which can be installed in our Confluence Data Center?

    Thank you,

We have been using the plugin on our Data Center instance for a long time without issue. My problem at present is navigating the QA requirements for data center qualification (setting up every kind of database Atlassian supports to test the install, setting up AWS accounts to run the Atlassian scripts to create large scale Confluence instances to test the performance and the like. It’s just a very expensive and time consuming process to get Data Center qualifications.)

I had the same issue with my free plugin that I created. I would have loved to keep it up, but the Marketplace requirements are too strict. They have made it practically impossible for people who want to offer a free plugin. Maybe we need a community driven marketplace where people can list/get plugins that are vetted security wise but not subject to the burdensome requirements that Atlassian has adopted.
