Basic Glossary support for Jira

Would it be possible to extend the Basic Glossary plugin to Jira so that terms can be viewed and defined from with Jira as they are in Confluence? This seems like it would be a critically useful feature for documenting Acceptance Criteria and Descriptions on stories during planning.

Hi, it's a good idea; however, right now I've go so much work in front of me I'm not sure when I could even scrape the time together to look at it. :(
