Wireless Client mode issue on R8000

Issue #23 new
Michael Root created an issue

This is in freshtomato 2018.5, haven't tried older versions. Device is a Nighthawk X6.

In Basic->Network->WAN Settings, changing Wireless Client Mode to any device should also change the corresponding device's Wireless Mode setting to "Wireless Client".

However, the wrong device's Wireless Mode is being changed.

I suspect this is because this device has three radios, and the order in the Wireless Client Mode combo box somehow ends up being 2.4GHz (eth2), 5GHz (eth1), 5GHz (eth3). Setting the combo box to 2.4 GHz (eth2) ends up changing the Wireless Mode of the 5GHz (eth1) interface to Wireless Client.

Looked briefly at the code to try and offer a patch, but looks like it'd take me a while to get up to speed... Hopefully it's an easy fix.

This issue is still present in Asus RT-AC3200
    Freshtomato 2019.3.118 -beta K26ARM USB AIO-128K

Further, it doesn’t appear to be just cosmetic in nature.

No matter the combination/configuration selected, the eth* client MAC briefly and periodically shows up in the hosting AP “Device List” but connection is not established
