6400v2 Support?

As the title infers, I'm seeking to put fresh tomato on my 6400v2 router. As of RN I haven't even checked the firmware version on this and is completely stock. I got it from a customer who had upgraded their router for whatever reason and it should be in good working order.

Everywhere I look there seems to be a general statement that In comparison to the 6400v1 these routers are very similar except one thing. Their board id / chipset. Is there anyway we can get support for this device? Has it already been established that it's not possible and I'm missing something? Lastly, thank you for continuing development :)
