Using multiple columns as groups in alphaDiversity
Issue #108
open
Hi I am using alphaDiversity to calculate Simpson's index for groups defined by multiple columns in the data. Is there any way to pass multiple columns to the group
argument or I have to manually construct a new column?

Hi! We plan to review that funciton (and related) in a near future, and maybe that would be a good time to update it to use multiple grouping columns. But for now, you are right. You need to construct a new column.
