1. I'm going to say "no". It's inconsistent with the idea of clean software documentation, and more appropriate for a supplemental website for a manuscript.

2. This just requires updating inst/CITATION, the appropriate roxygen blocks (done), and running markr to rebuild the docs (and install mkdocs if you haven't already).
