Price Rules

Issue #25 new
Former user created an issue

Hi, I would like to know if is it possible to have a price reduction applying on all daily rate given a certain number of days. For example, if I have a room costing 50€ / day.

For more than 7 days, the price of the room is 48€/day (everyday of the stay). For more than 14 days, the price of the room is 45€/day (everyday of the stay). For more than 21 days, the price of the room is 41€/day (everyday of the stay). ...

Is it possible ? How ?

Sorry for my english, thank you for your response.

What have you tried so far? Have you tried setting up rules with 'After X Days' and 'Before X Days' ?

Thank you for your quick response, I've already tried those but It doesn't really meet my need.

    What I want is to set this rules in the module : 1 to 6 nights : 65€/day 7 to 27 nights : 44€/day from 28 nights : 39€ /day

To do that I wanted to use Special Offers > "After X days" with a reduction per room per day applied on EVERY DAY of the stay, I understand the operation of the pricing rule, indeed it applies the reduction only on the next days not all. Here is what I tried with only one rule defined for my test as below :

The result on the frontend :

I know it's how work this pricing rule doing the test but what I excepted is to have 54 on all days.

If it's not possible now, do you think you will add this feature in a future version ?

    Thank you.

Hi, I tried in a different way and manage to reach my goal with "Before X days" with Extra Charges.

Despite the fact it works fine this way, it should be more convenient to have a way to do that as "Special Offer" for the client, with an unique value applied on everyday of the stay, to see that he is a special offer for more days than an extra charge for less, just a detail.

Thank you anyway for this great component and sorry for the inconvenience ;)
