HWMonitor version for Snow Leopard

Issue #31 new
Former user created an issue

Hi,

I'm running SL on an older system which does not support anything beyond SL10.6.8. It's running in 32bit mode and using your FakeSMC v6.0.1011 without problems.

The only issue is that I cannot run HWMonitor since all those versions that ship with your various releases of the package require Lion as minimum.

I can run an old version v2.3.20 but: 1) it requires a much older version of FakeSMC (for instance 5.1.68 although) 2) it has a permanent memory leak

Would that be possible at all?

Forgot to log in prior to posting above request, oups!

About v5.1.68, I was trying to say that it runs Ok, but appears limited compared to much more recent versions of the package.

Sorry but it's near impossible to port newest HWMonitor to work in 10.6. I am heavily using view-based NSTableView that's only available in 10.7+. And not only NSTableView also NSPopover and other things

I had a feeling it'd be like that. Never mind, it's just a nice tool to have but not necessary to enjoy OS X! ;-) Keep up on the good work and thank you for it.
